Greenwich is 48 square miles of residences and businesses surrounded by rolling hills, woods, and meadowlands dotted with lakes and 32 miles of Long Island Sound shoreline. Only 34 miles from mid-town New York City, Metro North provides rail service to Manhattan from four stations: Greenwich, Cos Cob, Riverside and Old Greenwich. All three major New York area airports are within an hour’s drive. Many consider Greenwich a suburb of New York City because of its array of culture, nature, gourmet food, entertainment and shopping.
