Ridgefield remains a beautiful colonial town of 34 square miles with restored Colonial homes near the center of town and more contemporary homes scattered throughout the area’s wooded hillsides.
The school system is rated one of the ten best in Connecticut and more than 90% of Ridgefield High School graduates continue their education. Family oriented activities and recreation are an integral part of life in Ridgefield. Residents of all ages use town four parks, community center, nature preserves and areas where camping, hiking and fishing are encouraged. Community groups host events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt, the children’s Halloween Walk and the Christmas Tree Lighting.
